Fraud & Impersonation Notice
If it cannot be verified, walk away.
Physical commodity brokerage is a frequent target for impersonation. False mandates, cloned websites and fabricated brokers are used to extract fees, documents and payments from genuine operators. This notice sets out how NYX Markets operates, so you can confirm any contact that carries our name.
How we operate
Official channels only
We correspond exclusively from nyxmarkets.com email addresses and the telephone number published on this site. We do not conduct business through messaging apps or personal accounts.
No advance fees
We are remunerated on completed cargo only, under NCNDA and IMFPA lodged with the appointed paymaster. We never request retainers, deposits, processing fees or any payment in advance of performance.
No client funds
We hold no inventory, take no price position and do not handle client funds. We will never ask you to transfer money to us or to an account on our instruction.
Named principals
Every mandate is worked by a named principal of the firm. If you cannot identify the individual acting for you, or verify them directly, stop.
If you have been approached
If contact claiming to be from NYX Markets does not match the conduct described above, it is not us. Do not send funds, documents or corporate information.
Report it to us directly at Hello@nyxmarkets.com with the correspondence you received. We will confirm whether it is genuine and, where it is not, help you document it for your bank and the relevant authorities.
We would rather lose a transaction than have our name travel on one that cannot be closed.
